Hardback, 8vo grey cloth boards, red titles, first thus, 295pp. Photographic illustrations. Good/Good +. Block edges are foxed and generally aged. Edges of boards faded. Ends of spine bumped and faded. Dustwrapper (now protected) has shelfwear to top of covers and flaps, with both ends of spine also frayed. A new interpretation of the notorious 1915 sinking of what was, apparently, a passenger liner unconnected with the unfolding war, yet whose last voyage was not so innocent, according to Simpson's brilliantly-argued account.
