Ex-libris with sticker opposite half-title. Book has been well read, blotchy fading to boards, foxing to block edges, pages and plates clean. Dustwrapper (now protected) is chipped and worn around edges, spine colour faded. Kenyon's account of her own excavations at the Near Eastern town believed to be the oldest urban settlement on earth.
